Postpartum Doula Offerings

Our Haushaltshilfe are family trained post-partum support people. They provide in general the same services as postpartum doulas but are covered by insurance.

Postpartum doulas are there to gently guide families as they adjust to the big changes that come with welcoming a new baby. They offer steady, compassionate support - answering questions, providing reassurance, cooking, basic newborn care and helping you gain confidence as you discover the parenting style that feels right for you.

Overnight doulas provide newborn care during the night so that the parents can sleep. Since broken sleep is a normal part of caring for an infant, a night doula’s role is to attend the baby’s needs throughout the night even if bottle or breastfed.

We also offer: Abortion doula support services, birth photography, childbirth education, fertility support, placenta encapsulation, bodywork (massage, fascia therapy, reiki). Please inquire to receive more information about these offerings.
